Living in Patience & Port Towns - Poetry LGBT @ Two Brewers Clapham (28/6/23)

had the total privilege to read my new rhyme, which has now been renamed to ‘night time story’ at @poetrylgbt on wednesday. it was such a beautiful and nourishing space to share stories, and it felt so good to be surrounded by so many talented queer hotties. the total dream really ❤️.


in other news 6 months deep on t, and finally my spoken voice is matching the voice in my head, which is bringing me endless joy ✨

Queer Talk Live! Reclaiming our Youth (10/09/22)

It's London Podcast Festival 2022! Earlier this year Spencer and Mufseen hosted a live panel discussion with writer Dean Atta and creator Darkwah on the topic of 'Reclaiming Our Youth'. Bookending our panel discussion are spoken word performances from Kylo and a special performance of 'Straight Jacket' by London-based rhyme writer Myndstate!

From Gemini to Leo - Queer poetry spoken word open mic night @ glass house (20/10/22)

finally uploading my rhyme ‘from gemini to leo’. i originally wrote this for @queer_talk live, which took place 4 weeks after my top surgery, and it’s trans joy at its purest 🏳️‍⚧️. this vid is of me performing it at @sapphoevents queer spoken word last october, when my voice was quite a lot higher imao. i hope you can all find a little joy in it too 🩵

in other news my healing is going good! had my final hospital check today, and everyone was very happy (nice work kylo’s body), and i’m now heading back to london, and summer, oh and obvo - happy beginning of pride = abolition is trans liberation
